Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all Intentify products.

Product-specific prohibited uses are called out by section and in each Product Addendum.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all use of Intentify’s products and services, including SmartRep, SmartDiscovery, and any future Intentify offerings (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Danny Robles, LLC DBA Intentify (“Intentify”).

This AUP applies to all Customers and, where applicable, to End Users of features deployed by Customers. Customers are responsible for ensuring their End Users comply with this AUP. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by this AUP.

2. Prohibited Uses — All Products

The following uses are prohibited across all Intentify products:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activity

  • Using the Services to facilitate, promote, or enable any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.

  • Generating, distributing, or soliciting content that promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or other protected characteristics.

  • Facilitating fraud, identity theft, phishing, social engineering, or other deceptive schemes.

  • Infringing the intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights of any third party.

2.2 Professional Advice Misrepresentation

  • Representing or implying that AI-Generated Output constitutes licensed medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

  • Deploying any Intentify product in clinical, diagnostic, or treatment decision-making contexts without appropriate human oversight and required regulatory compliance.

  • Using the Services in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, legal) without ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including HIPAA, FINRA, SEC rules, and applicable state laws.

2.3 Deceptive or Manipulative Practices

  • Deploying AI agents or outputs that deny being AI-generated when sincerely asked.

  • Impersonating real individuals, companies, or brands without authorization.

  • Targeting vulnerable populations—including minors, elderly individuals, or those with cognitive impairments—in a manipulative or exploitative manner.

  • Generating disinformation, synthetic propaganda, or coordinated inauthentic content designed to deceive the public.

2.4 Data Privacy Violations

  • Collecting, storing, or processing sensitive personal data (health records, payment card data, government IDs, biometrics) through Intentify without appropriate legal basis and safeguards.

  • Collecting personal data from children under 13 (or applicable age of consent) without verifiable parental consent.

  • Using the Services to build profiles on individuals for unlawful surveillance, stalking, or discriminatory targeting.

  • Violating the Intentify Privacy Policy or Customer’s own published privacy policy.

2.5 Platform Integrity

  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying AI models, system prompts, or infrastructure from the Services.

  • Using the Services in a manner that places unreasonable or disproportionate load on Intentify’s infrastructure.

  • Circumventing access controls, rate limits, authentication systems, or security measures.

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labeling access to the Services without Intentify’s prior written consent.

3. Prohibited Uses — SmartRep Specific

  • Deploying AI agents that collect sensitive financial or health information from End Users without required legal compliance measures.

  • Using SmartRep to conduct unsolicited outreach, spam, or mass messaging campaigns.

  • Configuring agents to deceive End Users about the nature, capabilities, or limitations of the AI.

  • Deploying agents in emergency response or crisis contexts where AI limitations could endanger health or safety.

4. Prohibited Uses — SmartDiscovery Specific

  • Submitting third-party website content or proprietary business data belonging to others without authorization.

  • Using AI-Generated Personas to impersonate, defame, harass, or misrepresent real individuals or organizations.

  • Treating AI-Generated strategic recommendations as professional consulting advice without independent verification.

  • Using SmartDiscovery outputs to make high-stakes decisions (mergers, investments, clinical decisions) without independent expert review.

  • Reproducing or distributing AI-Generated Personas in contexts where they could be mistaken for real people without appropriate disclosure.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, or if you have received harmful or inappropriate output from an Intentify product, please report it to Intentify at support@intentify.co. Include a description of the issue, the product involved, and any relevant supporting information. Intentify reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.

6. Enforcement

Intentify reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, or reasonably suspecting one, Intentify may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a written warning to the Customer.

  • Temporarily restrict or suspend access to some or all Services.

  • Permanently terminate the Customer’s account without refund.

  • Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

  • Pursue available civil or legal remedies.

Intentify will use reasonable efforts to notify the affected Customer before or promptly after taking enforcement action, except where prohibited by law or where notification could compromise an investigation or cause harm.

7. Appeals

Customers who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may submit a written appeal to support@intentify.co within 30 days of the action. The appeal must include the Customer’s account details, a description of the relevant activity, and the basis for the appeal. Intentify will respond within 15 business days.

8. Changes to This Policy

Intentify may update this AUP periodically. Intentify will provide at least 14 days’ advance notice of material changes via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated AUP constitutes acceptance.

This AUP is incorporated into and supplements the Intentify Master Services Agreement. In the event of conflict, the MSA governs.
